When first introduced the Lincoln Zephyr was hailed by the museum of modern art as "The finest, successfully designed, streamlined car in America". This was praise indeed for a car with an overall length of 5.33 metres and weighing around 1707kgs. The V12 power unit developed 110bhp and the car was capable of very respectable 150kmh. |
